Finding enough time is even harder than keeping the books maintained and your customers happy! One way you might not have thought of to make the time you have more productive is by using an online postage service. Let’s face it: becoming a fixture in your local post office is time-consuming and paying for an expensive postage meter isn’t exactly an attractive option either.

Are You Offering Free Shipping? Latest Trends On One Of Your Greatest Promotion Opportunities

If you are not offering some level of free shipping to your customers, chances are you are losing sales to your competitors that do.   During Q3 2009, 42 percent of all e-commerce transactions completed in the U.S. included free shipping, up from 31 percent in Q1 2008. This was according to ComScore and can be seen in the following graph:

Q. How do you ship to U.S. Territories like the U.S Virgin Islands, Guam, and Puerto Rico?

This is a question I am asked every now and again. Almost all items I ship to these territories ship out via the U.S Postal Service. The postal service treats all U.S. territories as Domestic locations. This means you do not need to follow any additional rules and restrictions that are different from within the United States. Its significantly cheaper and there are no extra forms to fill out.
