The shipping and drop shipping costs from having multiple warehouse locations is the biggest issue. If you decide to not use a drop ship company you need to bring in the inventory and warehouse it. This can cause it's own issues. You need to find a warehouse, hire the staff to do the shipping and manage the warehouse and pay for the inventory before you sell it. One great option would be to outsource your order fulfillment to a third party. You can have all of your inventory shipped to the fulfillment company and have them ship it to your customers.
