Wordpress Shopp Online Store Plugin For E-Commerce Sites

I recently purchased the Shopp e-commerce plugin for Wordpress and I am currently putting it through its paces. I hope to have a full review here within a few weeks or so.

Shopp integrates into your WordPress website and includes everything from backoffice administration to your online store’s shopping experience. It looks and works like it was meant to be part of WordPress all along. It appears to plays well with other plugins by adhering to the WordPress plugin development guidelines.

So far installation into my test wordpress blog has been a snap. In about 5 minutes, I had everything downloaded and installed. On my development machine, I have finished installing a test SSL certificate and hopefully within a day or so, I hope to have some test products setup.

The verdict is out though, as I haven’t really gotten into the meat of the plugin yet. So far it looks promising for simple stores, built on the wordpress open source platform. If anyone has experience, good or bad, I’d love to hear about it.
